There is enough scientific evidence to prove that our modern lifestyle is fueling an inevitable cancer epidemic. The WHO are calling for action from everyone. And to put it simply, once you think about it, the answers are very logical. On a daily basis I hear people sigh and say hopelessly

"so we can't eat fried foods, we can't eat meat, we can't eat sugar...what can we eat?!?! Soon it will be carcinogenic to breath, should we stop that too?!?"

And it's all true, fried foods are carcinogenic because of the process that makes the oils we fry in toxic. Yes, meat is hard to digest and causes us to produce more acids in our stomachs for digestion that are detrimental to us on a daily basis. Yes, constant high blood sugar levels create and inflammatory environment for cancer to thrive on. And yes, for a lot of us, it IS carcinogenic to breath - with car pollution, toxic chemicals in sprays and paints, particles from building materials and heavy farming industries. Of course, we can't stop breathing... But we can try to understand what we are exposing ourselves to on a daily basis and start making wiser choices around the few things we can control and take actions to reduce the sum of all the parts.
